US 18 begins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and heads west across the state, passing through Madison on its way to the Mississippi River and the Iowa border. As it continues heading west, US 18 crosses northern Iowa and southern South Dakota. After entering Wyoming, US 18 heads south a bit before continuing west and ending at I 25 in Orin, Wyoming.

I drove US 18 from end to end in 1998, and took these photographs while on that trip.
