The old station is abandoned and slowly crumbles, but for now it is still standing.
This hasn't been a passenger station for well over a half century, but many of the architectural elements remain, and even the station name and railroad lettering on the front still survive.
Much of the old tilework, including an NYH, and even the old entrances to the platform stairways still remain.
Riding under the station on Metro-North's Meadowlands special football service in the picture on the right we see a support column for the station and the number 6 subway high above.
