We took a trip on the Warminster Line on 16 October 2011. This was our first trip to the Philadelphia area arriving from the north, using US 202 to cross the Delaware River. We stopped for lunch at Friendly’s and then made our way to the Warminster station. While we saw some shiny new Silverliner V’s near the station, our train used the typical Silverliner IV’s. Boarding at the first station though, we were able to grab the semi-private center row. We rode the train as far as Melrose Park, figuring we’d see the rest of the line when we eventually rode the Lansdale / Doylestown Line. At Melrose Park we looked around for a bit, watched a few other trains pass, and then caught our train back to Warminster.
