There was once a stop called West Newburgh. According to Alex Prizgintas, West Newburgh was primarily for freight. The stop was home to the Erie's roundhouse, turntable and the six track West Newburgh Yard. Everything was gone by the 1930's and today, the building in the very back corner of the photograph is sitting on top of the yard location.
