Sharon Station

Sharon is actually in Connecticut so this was called Sharon Station (since it's in New York) and really isn't in a town at all. A rail trail now follows the old right of way on the other side of the trees to the right. We are looking toward Grand Central. Photos of this station from the last days of Upper Harlem service showed the building falling into disrepair. It's nice to see that the building was saved. It's now a private residence. The stop appears on my 1926 schedule but is missing from my 1959 schedule.
